Studio Practice

Since I have been trying to get into studio and more creative shooting, I was able to do a session with Liz and make use of a few of her vintage style dresses and a fabulous red couch. The session was more for practicing lighting than anything else, but I managed to get a few decent shots out of the whole thing. We will be doing another session again soon, but until then, I will try and get a few more pics that I like posted here.

Shelly and Daughter beach shoot

These were taken a couple of weeks ago with Shelly and Camille. These two were so much fun! The weather was a little better than the last beach shoot I did, but it was still a bit overcast. It made the lighting nice, but still created a grey background. Oh well, a fair trade in my opinion. Enjoy!

First Boudoir Shoot

I had the most awesome opportunity to do a shoot for Victoria and Niki who wanted some boudoir shots for their guys. This was an incredible evening, the ladies are very cool and we had a lot of fun with the shoot. I still have a lot to go through, but here are a few of Victoria to start. It was an educational experience as far as dealing with lighting and some limitations on my current equipment. It started to get very difficult once I lost natural light. Overall the pics came out very nice though.

First Paid Shoot!!!

This couple (Amanda and Warren) found me on craigslist and wanted a beach shoot while they were visiting Monterey. They were a lot of fun, but very goofy which shows in some of their pics. It really shows who they are. This was also my first shoot of someone that is pregnant, so that added a little bit of a challenge to my session. Overall I think it went well. Toro Park Shoot

Finally, some portraits to add to my portfolio. Spent a couple hours at toro park with these two ladies, Brianna and Nikki. We had a lot of fun and I got some really great shots.
